For Students Full Conference Registration & Cash

The Association for Gravestone Studies (AGS) promotes the academic study of gravemarkers, cemeteries and related topics internationally through an annual conference and its peer-reviewed journal Markers.

This year its annual conference will be held virtually, from June 18th to June 27th, and it invites entries for its Student Conference Scholarship, open to post-grad or undergraduate students at any university worldwide.

The winner will present his or her paper during the Virtual Conference, and in addition will receive free registration for the whole conference, free student membership of AGS for the following year, and a cash prize of US$200.

Find out how to enter here.

The Association reserves the right to award more than one scholarship, or to make no award, as circumstances permit.

Open to all graduate and undergraduate students at an accredited college or university. Non- US students are welcome to apply. The winner must become a member of AGS ($25/year for students and includes Markers and Quarterly subscriptions).
