The Preservation workshop will be led by Jason Church, National Center for Preservation Technology and Training, National Park Service and AGS Board Member and Rusty Brenner, owner of Texas Cemetery Restoration.

AGS Preservation Workshop

The AGS Preservation Workshop includes a classroom lecture on Thursday and a field trip all day Friday with a box lunch.  Please see details below.

Thursday, June 22 - classroom session on the University of Denver campus, 2-3 hours, time TBD

Friday, June 23 – Hands-on workshop at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, CO.*   Van transportation from campus is included for Full Conference attendees, as it is a 90 min drive.  Those enrolled in only the AGS Preservation Workshop (not the Full Conference) provide their own transportation.

Break into Groups for Round Robin (one hour each)

  • Cleaning Basics
  • Resetting ground-supported grave markers
  • Adhesive repairs
  • Resetting stacked monuments
  • Patch fills

End at 4:00
